Smart home technology enables integration of home electrical systems by the use of a single controller. The electrical systems are able to communicate with each other, thereby allowing single button and/or voice control of the various systems simultaneously.

Intelligent home systems is most commonly used to control lighting for a single room or the entire home, enabling lighting to be dimmed or switched to create lighting scenes for a specific time of day or activity.

All of our electricians are trained to use Square D Clipsal lighting control products to install this kind of smart home technology. Square D is a market leading global brand of Schneider Electric.

There are many additional options available that can be integrated into the whole house lighting system which will automatically activate these whole house functions such as time clock control, occupancy sensors, wireless remotes and more.

For this we use the Clipsal Integrated Systems product range, Clipsal Bus or C-Bus. It is a fully programmable control and management system that is designed to not only make life easier but also to transform energy savings into reduced electricity bills. C-Bus is a microprocessor controlled wiring system that offers complete control of all electrical services including lighting and it can provide the platform for a total building automation system that can be integrated with air-conditioning and security systems too.
